A shall be punished by imprisonment with prison labor of one year and six months, by imprisonment with prison labor of Defendant B, and by a fine of five million won.

1. A person who violates the National Sports Promotion Act (such as Gambling, etc.) of Defendants A and B, and a person who opens gambling spaces shall not issue (including issuance by means of information and communications networks; hereinafter the same shall apply) sports promotion voting rights or things similar thereto to those issued (including issuance by means of information and communications networks) and shall not provide property or property benefits to those who win the result, and shall not open a space for gambling for the purpose of profit;

The Defendants set up and run an illegal sports gambling site, which is a sports forum for selling voting tickets under the National Sports Promotion Act. Defendant A conspired with each other to provide assistance, such as the overall operation and funding of the gambling site, and Defendant B’s establishment of the gambling site and the management of its members.

According to the above public invitation, the Defendants opened an illegal sports gambling site, which was serverd in a foreign country, from around February 2016, 19 to April 3, 2019, on the following grounds: (a) up to operating the above gambling site, the Defendants deposited KRW 1,354,964,130 in each Do by deposit of KRW 1,354,964,130 in the name of the members of the Do in the name of the Do; and (b) prior to the opening of the domestic and foreign sports game (overseas axis, the U.S. farm district, and the U.S. Hakiki), posted the results of the sports site in the form of "on-line", "on-site", "on-site", "on-site", "on-site", "on-site", "on-site", and paid the winning points and money according to the results of the sports site.

As a result, the Defendants conspired to commit an act similar to the issuance of sports betting tickets without being entrusted by the Seoul Olympic Sports Promotion Foundation.
