On March 8, 2017, the Defendant was sentenced to a suspended sentence of 8 months for a violation of the Customs Act from the Suwon District Court’s Pyeongtaek District Court’s imprisonment with prison labor for a violation of the Customs Act, and the said judgment became final and conclusive on March 16, 2017.

When it is intended to import or export goods, the name, standard, quantity and price of the relevant goods, and other matters prescribed by Presidential Decree shall be reported to the head of a customs office.

Defendant was aware of his knowledge around June 2015.

C From C, “I will pay 400,000 won to the Republic of Korea or purchase gold bars from China without reporting to the customs office, only in the name of pure transportation expenses except air ticket charges, accommodation expenses, and transportation expenses, if you transport gold bars from China to Japan,” upon receipt of a proposal and consent thereto, I would like to transport gold bars without reporting to the customs office on five gold bars in the shape of 200g weight of 200g dunes, with the knowledge that it is not easy for customs office to detect gold bars in the event of concealing gold bars.

Accordingly, on June 25, 2015, the Defendant: (a) entered the aircraft at the Incheon International Airport after departing from the Republic of Korea on June 25, 2015; (b) deposited five gold bars of 200g (46,915,000 won at the market price; (c) deposited five gold bars of 42,030,000 won at the price of goods; and (d) entered the Republic of Korea in collusion with C, D, E, 108,000 won in total from around 00 to December 12, 2017 (c) and conspired with the customs clearance of 106 kilograms (c) at 106k in total from around 00,000 to KRW 36,08,00,000 at the price of the goods, 308,008,000 won, 106,0000 won and 106.28,06,06,000 won.
